Really excited to announce that the Not A Book Club game for discussion on 17th January 2018 will be Undertale (Created by Toby Foxhttp://undertale.com/)

Not A Book Club is slowly becoming more and more about playing those games that you have always wanted to play and heard so much about but for some reason or another just somehow missed it when it was first released or when it was 'doing the rounds' so to speak.

From the point of view of arranging a meetup to discuss these 'games that you may have missed' it actually works out pretty well. Firstly, the games will likely have been out for a year or so and will have had a nice amount of time for the developers to fix any bugs within the game. Secondly, the game may have found it's way onto more platforms since it's original release, which is great, it means more people can access these great games. Thirdly, and possibly most importantly the chosen game likely being out for a year or so will also mean that the price of the game may be at a nice price where people feel like they can spend their money without breaking the bank, this makes it more accessible for people to play the game and join the meetup.

More about Undertale:

In this RPG, you don’t have to kill anyone.
Each enemy can be “defeated” nonviolently.
Dance with a slime. Pet a dog. Whisper your favorite secret to a knight.
Or, ignore this choice and rain destruction upon your foes.

But your journey will take determination.
Each adversary has unique bullet patterns that you must dodge as well.

Emphasis on humor, character dialogue, and player choice.
Average playtime: 6 hours.

Woof.
